Billing & Account Management

How Billing Cycles and Renewals Work

Understanding billing cycles and renewals is important to managing your BrandLife subscription effectively. This guide explains how billing works, when payments are due, and what happens at renewal.

1. What Is a Billing Cycle?

A billing cycle is the recurring period for which you are charged for your BrandLife plan. BrandLife offers two main billing options:

  • Monthly Billing: You are charged once per month on the date you started your subscription.
  • Yearly Billing: You are charged once per year on the date your subscription started. Yearly plans often include a discount compared to paying monthly.

Your billing cycle determines when you are charged and when your plan renews.

2. When Billing Occurs

  • First Payment: When you choose a plan, your payment method is charged immediately for the first billing period.
  • Recurring Payments: After the first payment, your account is automatically charged at the start of each new billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
  • Invoice Emails: You will receive an email invoice at the beginning of each billing cycle for your records.

3. Automatic Renewal

All BrandLife plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle to ensure uninterrupted access to your assets and features.

  • Monthly Plans: Renew automatically every month.
  • Yearly Plans: Renew automatically every year on your subscription start date.
  • Notification: BrandLife sends a renewal reminder email several days before your plan renews.

4. Changing Your Plan Mid-Cycle

  • Upgrading: If you upgrade during a billing cycle, you are charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining time in your cycle. The new plan features are activated immediately.
  • Downgrading: Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle to prevent loss of access during your paid period.

5. Canceling Your Subscription

If you cancel your BrandLife subscription:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to Account SettingsBilling
  3. Click Manage Subscription Cancel Subscription
  4. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
  5. After the cycle ends, your plan will not renew.

Note: Assets stored in your account will be lost if you cancel your account.

6. Payment Methods

BrandLife accepts the following payment methods:

  • Major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)

Make sure your payment method is valid and up-to-date to avoid failed renewals.
